Full plot (contains spoilers)

Elena is a young girl from a wealthy Tuscan family who spends her life going between nights at clubs and school. She has two friends, Michela and Alice, whom she treats like slaves and who have to play along with her. The three girls are influenced by television and fashion magazines, and are so obsessed with dieting that they become anorexic, taking Kate Moss as their ideal of womanhood. Elena mocks those considered the biggest “losers” because they are “nerds” and studious. She is therefore a bully, and also abuses drugs, hiding behind this behavior a deep psychological distress stemming from her parents’ lack of presence, as they are too caught up in social and work commitments. Mario Landi, a new teacher who has arrived from the Tuscan provinces, comes to Elena’s school and discovers the girls’ true personalities. Elena sets up a very dangerous game, attempting to ruin the teacher’s family and more, and succeeds in her nefarious aim.
