The story
Pat Scotty, a former officer in the border military command, is assigned to infiltrate a Mexican criminal gang by posing as a gold prospector. He works to win the favor of the gang’s leader, the Capataz.

Pat Scotty, a former officer in the border military command, is assigned to infiltrate a Mexican criminal gang by posing as a gold prospector. He then wins the favor of their leader, the Capataz, and, with the help of a woman, puts a plan into action that allows the soldiers to lay siege to the bandits. The Capataz nevertheless manages to escape, but Scotty soon catches up with him. Scotty spares him, however, and turns him over to justice.
