Bettgeflüster & Babyglück (2005)

Uli, a divorce lawyer, is opposed to marriage because of the many bad experiences he has had in his professional life. But when he meets Pia, who is also a lawyer specializing in family law, the sparks fly between them, and they get married. The only thing missing for the couple’s complete happiness is a baby. Their wish to have a child goes unfulfilled, so Pia tries to become a mother through artificial insemination. But when she finds out that Uli has been unfaithful, she files for divorce. Uli, however, does not want to lose the woman he loves, so he pulls out all the stops under family law. Meanwhile, out of spite, Pia takes up with another partner, and Uli sees her watching a soccer game with him. When Uli confronts her about it at a garden party, Pia replies that Uli never asked whether she wanted to go to the soccer stadium with him. Uli and Pia realize that they are made for each other after all and call off the divorce. After a loving night together, Pia does become pregnant by Uli, and the two are now expecting twins.
