Bibi & Tina - Mädchen gegen Jungs (2016)

Students from a partner school visit the Falkenstein camp to experience country life. At a sporting event, the home team initially loses, until Bibi finally supports the Falkenstein team. The visiting student Urs turns out to be an extreme macho and wisecracker, making him a thorn in Bibi and Tina’s side. The next activity is a geocaching hunt, with teams of three girls and boys competing against one another. Urs manages to win Tina’s boyfriend, Alex from Falkenstein, over to his team. Afraid of losing, Urs also plays unfairly and puts Bibi’s group in danger. To save herself from an enraged bull, Bibi has to use her magical powers without permission. Urs’s taunts become increasingly vicious. After the rap battle “Girls Against Boys,” Bibi can think of no other way to defend herself than to put several spells on Urs. But before she can undo them, her magical powers suddenly disappear for no apparent reason, and Urs has to spend the night with a ballooned head. Bibi is completely dejected and apologizes to Urs. In the final tiebreaker in a cave, between the two remaining groups led by Bibi and Urs, Urs coerces Bibi into giving him the last star she found, kisses her without her consent, and leaves her in the dark. Outside the cave, Tina confronts Urs about what happened, and a fierce argument breaks out between the two groups. Urs throws François’s glasses away. The argument reminds Bibi of Kakman and of how she, Tina, and François drank an herbal smoothie in his hermit’s hut. They ride back there, where they discover that it contained Kniesenwurz, a relative of ivy that works even more powerfully than ivy against witches’ powers. Now it is clear why Bibi will be unable to do magic for an uncertain amount of time. Things get worse still. In the meantime, François’s lost glasses have caused a forest fire by concentrating the sun’s rays. Everyone has to help prevent the fire from spreading. When the water runs out and the fire threatens to gain the upper hand, Bibi’s magical powers finally return, and she is able to put out the forest fire.
