Full plot (contains spoilers)
When Napoleon’s army discovers that its first defeat was caused by a mountain boy—a charcoal burner who sowed panic among its troops with his drumbeat—it sends six battle-hardened mercenaries on a single mission: hunt him down in the mountains of Montserrat and cut off his head to impale it in the village square. After murdering his loved ones and terrifying the entire village with their threats, they set off in pursuit of him through the mountains of Montserrat.
