Full plot (contains spoilers)

Sergeant Cloadec, a Frenchman in the British Commandos, is tasked with assembling a team of four soldiers, each with highly developed skills in either combat or navigation, and all willing to risk their lives. Once the team has been formed, their mission is revealed: to destroy a fighter base whose aircraft intercept Allied bombers. During the parachute drop into Germany, the explosives specialist is killed. German soldiers close in around the commando team, which takes refuge in a house. There, one of the men, who is wounded, sacrifices himself to cover his comrades’ escape. After requesting explosives and tools by radio to cut through the base’s perimeter barbed wire, the survivors manage to infiltrate the base and plant explosives at the fuel depot and on a large number of the aircraft. When they manage to escape, they meet up with a company of British paratroopers and succeed in boarding an evacuation aircraft with them, under German mortar fire.
