A lonely teenager’s search for romance online draws her into the orbit of a group targeting girls, while an inspector investigates a schoolgirl’s murder.
The story
Seventeen-year-old Silke Hartmann, unhappy with her love life, begins looking for a partner in online chat rooms. She meets Jan, who says he is also 17, and believes she may have found someone right for her. When she tries to arrange a meeting, she learns that the supposed boy does not exist and that the online contact is a decoy used by a group seeking victims. At the same time, Inspector Magnus Sieber and his assistant Dagmar Matius investigate the murder of a schoolgirl found abused. Their online inquiries reveal clues that point toward the group and toward Silke, putting the teenager in danger.

Seventeen-year-old Silke Hartmann is still unhappy with her love life. So she decides to look for a partner in various online chat rooms. There she meets Jan, who claims to be 17 as well. Silke believes he is just right for her. When she tries to arrange a meeting with him, she discovers that her supposed chat partner does not exist, but is a decoy searching online for victims on behalf of a group of pedophiles. Meanwhile, Inspector Magnus Sieber and his assistant Dagmar Matius are working to solve the sexual murder of a schoolgirl who was found abused. Online, they find clues to a murder and a trail leading to the girl traffickers and Silke Hartmann. Sieber poses as a potential customer of the group and thereby gets close to Silke. As he tries to rescue her, a showdown with the perpetrators ensues.
