A cheeky, erotic reworking of classic fairy-tale characters brings two unlikely stories into the late-1960s modern world.
The story
A highly unusual storybook links two irreverent fairy tales, mixing classic characters and historical costumes with the modern world of the late 1960s. One story follows Rosi Dorn, a chaste castle damsel awakened from a 700-year sleep by Charly, a traveling salesman for women’s underwear. Their courtship becomes complicated as Rosi discovers a powerful appetite for love. In the other, Prince Snow White faces the attentions of Balduin, Count of Schwullingen, after rejecting his love. The tales unfold as a bawdy romantic roundelay, with fairy-tale figures and modern settings colliding in sexually charged adventures.

Georg Thomalla recounts two rather different fairy tales from a highly unusual “storybook,” featuring classic fairy-tale characters from long ago in historical costumes, some of them transported into the modern world of the late 1960s. At the center of these stories, which unfold like a cheeky romantic roundelay, are the erotic and sexual adventures of young, bare-breasted women with melodious names such as Undine and Ping & Pong, whom two virile conquerors and heartbreakers are keen to bed, whether out in the open fields, in a castle, or at a girls’ boarding school. The central characters in the two connected stories are Rosi Dorn and Prince Snow White. In this frolic, seasoned with bawdy humor and risqué jokes, a certain Charly courts Rosi; he works as a traveling salesman for women’s underwear. This awkward everyman awakens the chaste damsel of the castle from a 700-year sleep, after which she has a lot of catching up to do, especially when it comes to sex. Rosi’s appetite for love is so overwhelming that the prince soon feels out of his depth. Prince Snow White, meanwhile, faces a very different threat. It is not that someone wants to put him in a glass coffin with a poisoned apple. No, here it is a certain Balduin, Count of Schwullingen, who intends to snuff out his life with his poisoned banana because his love has been rejected. The aristocrat is openly gay and takes the role of the wicked queen in the original Snow White fairy tale. But Prince Snow White is entirely devoted to young, well-built fairy-tale girls, whom the man left behind in the forest promptly encounters and intends to pleasure behind the bushes. Even pretty, seductive Little Red Riding Hood cannot escape his lust and is certainly good for a quickie. Finally, the male Snow White finds himself in a modern boarding school, where he promptly encounters seven girls … and they are anything but dwarfs.
