Full plot (contains spoilers)
Two young Munich womanizers have nothing on their minds but chasing pretty, young girls dressed as lightly and scantily as possible, day in and day out. One day, through their telescope, they spot Eva and her friend Yvonne sunbathing naked on the roof of their apartment building and decide they look like promising targets. Soon the two men are pursuing the girls, even really harassing them. One of the men, a would-be playboy with a sports car, tries to get Eva into bed in a hurry. While Yvonne is quickly seduced by the other man, Eva expects more from life and does not want to be just a one-night stand. So she firmly rebuffs her suitor. After this experience, Eva solemnly vows: “To be and remain a virgin for my entire life!” Her parents are already leading carefree, dissolute lives, which deeply upsets Eva. Both her father and her mother each have a younger lover. Her father sees nothing wrong with taking Eva and Yvonne on a sailing trip, along with his youthful mistress. Eva’s vow to abstain from now on soon proves difficult, since temptations are everywhere. Yvonne also thinks Eva’s anti-sex attitude is nonsense and believes people are not born to abstain. She says she would reconsider only if a man showed Eva that he was serious about her. In the end, it is the young Werner who finally manages to win over the beautiful young woman.
