Full plot (contains spoilers)
Traumatized by the civil war raging in her homeland, the young woman Irina flees to Berlin from an unnamed Eastern European country. While supporting herself as a prostitute, she meets and falls in love with Kalle, an unemployed punk. She takes him in at her rented apartment. One day, Kalle finds the body of a client in Irina’s apartment, cuts it up in the bathroom, and “buries” it in a park. After the police take the two of them into custody, lawyer Noah Leyden takes on their defense. Irina had encountered him at the beginning of the film in a car collision. In the end, both are acquitted because, as the autopsy revealed, the client died of a heart attack.
