Full plot (contains spoilers)
After retaking their high school graduation exams, Lorenzo, Luisa, Francesca, Piero, Virgilio, Giorgio, Marta, and Eleonora decide to go on the trip they had failed to take twenty years earlier, to the island of Paros in Greece. Giorgio and Lorenzo arrive on the island ahead of the others and meet two Spanish girls. Giorgio makes a move on Anna, one of them, to test himself and prove that he can resist any temptation, but in the end he gives in and has sex with her. At the end of the evening, to avoid trouble with his girlfriend Marta, he lies to Anna and says his name is Lorenzo. The real Lorenzo, meanwhile, does not give in to the charms of the other girl, but feels guilty toward his partner, Luisa; Giorgio, however, makes him promise to keep quiet. A couple of days later, Lorenzo confesses what happened, but Luisa forgives him right away. However, she and Marta track down the two Spanish girls. Anna then reveals that she really did have sex with one of the two men, but that she did not know he was married; she also calls him Lorenzo, leading Luisa to believe that her boyfriend is the one who lied. Furious, Luisa turns down Lorenzo's marriage proposal, and the two split up until Giorgio explains the truth. Luisa apologizes to Lorenzo, while Marta believes Giorgio lied to bring the two friends back together. Meanwhile, Piero lies to his girlfriend Sonia, telling her he has to go to Greece with his nonexistent wife and son, so he can become single again and enjoy himself on vacation. In Greece he meets Gloria, a girl he gets along with extremely well. At first he tells her he has a family too, but after a night of sex he realizes that he really likes her and explains the situation. She believes him, and the two begin a relationship. When Sonia unexpectedly arrives in Paros, Piero is forced to stage a charade, pretending that a child from the island is his son. But this makes him miss an important date with Gloria. The next day, the two women leave, and when they find themselves together saying goodbye to him, they realize he has deceived them. Through a misunderstanding, Virgilio ends up exchanging text messages with an unknown woman, whom he tries to seduce with Eleonora's help. Eleonora has breast cancer, but ignores the doctors' messages because she fears it cannot be operated on. For the same reason, even though she eventually falls in love with Virgilio, she encourages him to meet the mysterious woman and does her best to make sure the date goes well. Virgilio, too, realizes he is in love with his friend, but she drives him away to spare him from being with someone who is ill. He therefore goes to meet the mysterious woman, but finds Carlo, her husband, in her place. Carlo asks him to date his wife to test their marriage, but Virgilio refuses. When he returns to Eleonora, he tells her he loves her regardless of her tumor, and she reveals that she has called the hospital: the tumor can be operated on, and she has agreed to treatment. While all their friends are caught up in their adventures, Francesca, who had prevented her boyfriend Ivano from coming along because he was not part of their school-friends group, feels lonely and neglected by the others. She therefore develops a form of kleptomania that leads her to commit petty thefts involuntarily. Realizing that they have made their friend miserable, all the others are accused of a theft she committed and are put in jail. Speaking to them through the bars of the cell, Francesca asks their forgiveness. At this point, all the friends have a chance to clear the air: Lorenzo asks Luisa to marry him; Giorgio admits to Marta that he really did cheat on her, but Marta in turn confesses that she cheated on him two years earlier. Meanwhile, Ivano arrives on Paros to surprise Francesca, but he too is arrested for the theft she committed. When she sees him, Francesca is overjoyed and realizes she was wrong not to let him come from the very beginning. By the end of their adventures, the protagonists discover that they have changed, but are still immature.
