The story
After a fire in a Berlin apartment kills a father, his wife and daughter Hannah escape. Young criminal investigator Susanna Beckert takes charge of the case and notices inconsistencies. Similar arson incidents have occurred before, leading Beckert to suspect that the fires may be the work of a serial arsonist. Survivors from the various fires report seeing a “Flame Man,” but none can describe the figure in detail. The investigation begins with Beckert trying to make sense of the fire, the conflicting clues, and the elusive figure said to appear at the scenes.

A young criminal investigator is entrusted with the mysterious case of an apartment fire. In a fire in a Berlin apartment, a father dies, while his wife and daughter Hannah manage to escape the flames. The young criminal investigator Susanna Beckert leads the subsequent investigation and comes across inconsistencies.
