The story

An eleven-year-old boy, Kundel, accidentally escapes from a children’s home and is left to fend for himself. No one is looking for him, and his mother—the person he hoped to live with—is not expecting him. Rather than complain about his circumstances, he tries to make his own way while remaining aware that a better world exists. He finds shelter on a huge, old, abandoned barge. Nearby, he meets a girl who lives in a comfortable home, and their chance encounter brings him his first crush.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The film tells the story of an eleven-year-old boy who, after accidentally escaping from the children’s home, is left to fend for himself: no one is looking for him, and his mother, whom he wanted to live with, is not expecting him. Kundel does not complain about his fate; instead, he tries to make his own way in life, while still being aware that another, better world exists. He finds his “home” on a huge, old, abandoned barge. He befriends a girl who lives nearby in a real, comfortable home. This chance encounter brings his first crush.
