The story
Julien Monnier is a brilliant marriage counselor, but he cannot maintain a stable relationship. He seems to bring bad luck to his partners, affecting either their professional lives or their loved ones. When he meets Joanna Sorini, a promising designer, she experiences this misfortune for herself. Julien is smitten with Joanna, however, and is not ready to give up on her. Their relationship faces the challenge of his apparent knack for disrupting the lives of those he dates.
