The story
Wisi arrives in Bordeaux hoping to find work, but he is in a difficult situation. He meets Marina, a kind-hearted aid worker, and pretends to be undocumented, speaking with a strong African accent in order to persuade her to let him stay at her home. One evening, he encounters Jérôme, who is also homeless, following his mother’s death. The opening setup brings the three characters together amid Wisi’s search for a job and a place to stay.
