The story
Detective Anna Göllner and colleagues Tom and Martina are pursuing a serial killer in Frankfurt am Main. The trail leads them into the red-light district, where the “Sheriff” points Anna toward Marcus, a young psychology student for whom she has recently developed feelings. Marcus is researching the milieu for his thesis. As she searches for the killer, Anna clashes with his shady psychologist, Brigitte. Anna is the daughter of a former prostitute.

Detective Anna Göllner and her colleagues Tom and Martina are on the trail of a serial killer in Frankfurt am Main. The trail leads them into the red-light district, where the “Sheriff” points her toward a man she has recently developed feelings for: Marcus, a young psychology student. He is researching the milieu for his thesis. In her search for the killer, Anna also clashes with Marcus’s shady psychologist, Brigitte. Anna, herself the daughter of a former prostitute, soon discovers that Marcus has a mother who has gone into hiding.
