A missing actor playing Ulysses sends his assistant, who is really Athena, on a search that blurs myth and modern life.
The story
In the Marseille Metro, an actor rehearses his role as Ulysses and becomes drawn to a young woman using the pen name Calypso. He disappears, leaving the film crew waiting on the set, where he is both director and actor. His assistant, who is actually the goddess Athena, goes looking for him. Alongside this search, Athena interviews a Greek man whose family fled Greece in 1922 and who later built a life in Cameroon before returning to France. His story brings questions about returning to the land, organic farming, and the differences between rural and urban life into the film’s shifting search for Ulysses and Telemachus.

The film discusses the importance of returning to the land, the benefits of organic farming, and the fundamental differences between farmers and city dwellers. The recurring theme is Athena and Ulysses’s search for Telemachus, who is also an actor and is interviewed by the journalist, alias Athena. She changes roles from one second to the next...
