The story
Nora served on the jury at the trial of Jacques Viguier, who was accused of murdering his wife. Since then, she has been convinced of his innocence. She calls on leading lawyer Éric Dupond-Moretti to defend Viguier at his second trial, an appeal. A fight against injustice begins.

Nora (Marina Foïs) served on the jury at the trial of Jacques Viguier (Laurent Lucas), who was accused of murdering his wife, and ever since then she has been convinced of his innocence. She calls on a leading lawyer, maître Éric Dupond-Moretti (Olivier Gourmet), to defend Viguier at his second trial on appeal. A fight against injustice begins. As the appeal trial unfolds, Nora’s determination to fight an injustice turns into an obsession.
