Full plot (contains spoilers)
In the forest, a young man is pierced by two arrows in front of a taxi driver and collapses dead. Later, the bow is also found near the crime scene, and it emerges that the dead man was Horik Holm. His father is Kort Holm, Copenhagen’s underworld boss. As gradually becomes clear, both father and son know police officer Magnus Vinter, and their family home is still near Ribe. Magnus Vinter’s nephew Bjarne comes under suspicion and flees. When Kort Holm learns this too, he sends his own men to track down and eliminate the supposed murderer of his son. Ida and Magnus struggle to stay one step ahead of Holm’s killers, especially since the investigation is actually being led by ambitious Inspector Frida Olson (Katharina Heyer) from the nearby city of Esbjerg.
