The story

Young law student Aylin is sentenced by a German court to five years in prison. Hoping to avoid prison and pay for her studies, she accepts an offer from Stuttgart’s narcotics squad: work undercover and spy on drug dealer Musab. She must keep the assignment secret from her relatives. Aylin begins working under the supervision of narcotics officers Jan and Hannah, and soon has an affair with Jan. As she tries to gain Musab’s trust, she repeatedly disregards the officers’ rules, including by contacting her sister and photographing a meeting involving Musab and his business partner. Full plot (contains spoilers)

The young law student Aylin is sentenced by a German court to five years in prison. To avoid prison and fund her studies, she accepts an offer from Stuttgart’s narcotics squad to work undercover and spy on the drug dealer Musab. She is required to keep her work secret from her relatives. Shortly after beginning her undercover work, she has an affair with Jan, a narcotics officer who supervises her work alongside his colleague Hannah, but he does not tell her that Musab has already committed a murder. After winning Musab’s trust, Aylin repeatedly breaks the rules set by Jan and Hannah, putting herself in danger. For example, she calls her sister and photographs a meeting between Musab and his business partner. Even so, she provides the officers with useful information. On their instructions, she plants a tracking device in Musab’s phone. Musab tells her that he murdered his cousin because his cousin had turned against him. Aylin now realizes that Jan concealed the murder from her because Musab’s cousin had also been working undercover for the narcotics squad. After that, she sabotages the handover of a drug shipment to Musab’s business partner Hofmann, which the police are keeping under surveillance, and helps Musab escape from the police, who arrest Hofmann and Aylin. Some time later, Musab turns himself in to the police on the condition that Aylin be released. In the end, she tells Jan that she only had sex with him so she could secretly make a video of it.
