Die Quereinsteigerinnen (2005)

Friends Barbara and Katja kidnap Harald Winter, the head of Telekom, and take him to a remote holiday cottage. Katja’s boyfriend Stefan joins them there. Together, they demand that the old yellow phone booths be put back up. At first, their captive is outraged by how unprofessional the whole operation is, but after an attempted escape fails, he gradually begins to enjoy the situation. He becomes friends with his kidnappers. The company they are blackmailing appears to give in to their demand. But as the first yellow phone booths are being put up, Korn, a silver-tongued man working for Telekom, begins circling their idyllic hideout. When they discover that weapons have been planted on them without their knowledge, the only way out for the nonviolent kidnappers is to flee—and in the end, their captive joins them.
