Full plot (contains spoilers)
Three kidnappers arrange the abduction of Alice, a student from a wealthy Lombard family. One of them, Michele, is specifically assigned to keep her under constant watch in an abandoned farmhouse. At first, the girl is also forced to put up with her captor’s attentions, but over time she is the one who makes him subservient to her. When the police locate and surround the house, Michele, frightened, hands Alice his pistol, and she kills him without the slightest remorse. The authorities then take responsibility for the criminal’s death, thereby clearing the girl.
