Full plot (contains spoilers)
Fifteen-year-old Oona has to witness her father die by suicide after he learns from her that his wife, Kristina, has been unfaithful. Her peer Ari despises her parents, who devote almost all their attention to her brother, who suffers from fits of rage. Together, the two friends escape into a kind of dream world, where Oona indulges in fantasies of revenge and Ari discovers her sexuality. When Oona catches Ari with Lukas, Kristina’s boyfriend, Oona also attempts suicide. Kristina does not believe Oona and Ari when they tell her that Ari is having an affair with Lukas, so the two teenagers lure Lukas into a trap and kill him.
