The story
Leila is 19 and grew up in a carnival family, amid bumper cars and cotton candy, but the sensitive young woman feels that no one understands her—not even her best friend Sarah, whom she secretly loves. After a chaotic night ends in the emergency room, she voluntarily checks herself into a psychiatric clinic. There, she shares a room with shy Frenja, a married mother of a young daughter, and mysterious Ann, who has spent her life rejecting committed relationships.

Leila is 19 and grew up in a carnival family. But amid bumper cars and cotton candy, no one understands the sensitive young woman. Not even her best friend Sarah, whom she is secretly in love with. When a chaotic night ends in the emergency room, Leila voluntarily checks herself into a psychiatric clinic. There, she shares a room with the shy Frenja and the mysterious Ann. Although the women are so different—Frenja is married and the mother of a young daughter, while Ann has spent her whole life rejecting committed relationships—the three quickly grow closer and closer. They desire one another and fall in love. At night, they sneak out of the clinic, swim together in the pool, and party their way through clubs. Suddenly, Leila feels understood and accepted.
