The two share academic experiences and feminist ideas, as well as a desire to use law to transform society.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Simone (Sol Miranda), 28, is a young Black lawyer who devoted years of her life to performing sexually themed acts online to pay for her law school studies. Recently, she secured a position as a public defender through a competitive examination, which allowed her to leave the online performances behind, since she no longer needs that source of income. Her new routine involves attending classes in a preparatory course for public defenders, taking part in support sessions for women who have experienced domestic violence, and improving her kung fu skills, an activity she shares with Lucia (Lorena Comparato), a white friend from law school. Simone and Lucia share not only academic experiences, but also feminist ideas and a common desire to use the practice of law as a means of transforming society.
