The story
After an accident ends her fencing career, Marion is bored in her relationship and asks for a divorce. She looks for work to regain financial independence and seek joint custody of her young son. Dominique, a successful restaurateur, is married with two grown children and spends more time at his restaurant than with his family. He meets Marion by chance in a nightclub, where she tells him she plans to leave her husband. By chance, Dominique later has an opportunity to offer her a job.

This is the story of two couples whose relationships are falling apart and who are dragging around their disillusionment: their love has been worn down by time. After an accident ended her fencing career, Marion thought she had met the man of her life, and she has a little boy. She is bored and has grown tired of the relationship; she asks for a divorce and looks for a job so she can regain financial independence and obtain joint custody. Dominique, a successful restaurateur, met Marion by chance in a nightclub; a little tipsy, she confided that she was going to leave her husband. This encounter and her words “haunt” Dominique, who spends more time at his restaurant than with his wife and their two grown children. By chance, he gets the opportunity to offer Marion a job. The young woman's energy, charm, and sensitivity will give him the courage to face the truth about his relationship and leave.
