Clément (2001)

Marion is a 30-year-old woman who has had several relationships with different men while preserving her freedom. She is portrayed as an adult who still thinks of herself as a teenager. From the very beginning of the film, as she makes her way to her godson’s birthday party, a complex relationship develops between her and Clément, a charming and determined 13-year-old boy who admits that he feels ill at ease with his parents. Little by little, their relationship evolves as a strange and unsettling love takes hold. In turn, they seek each other out, push each other away, or put themselves in danger in ways that seem excessive, driven by an irrational passion.
