Full plot (contains spoilers)
Forty-eight-year-old filmmaker Marie is in crisis and is struggling to write a screenplay. Then, one morning, a box full of photographs and film footage from her childhood is left outside her door. The photographs and footage are from her father, who worked as a factory photographer and was also passionate about taking photographs and making films in his free time. Marie embarks on an emotional journey through time, from the staid, conventional 1950s—the era of the economic miracle—to the 1970s, a time of sexual revolt. During this period, she was also sent to a Catholic boarding school for girls.
