Full plot (contains spoilers)
The eponymous Baroness Andrea returns to her family’s castle. There, she has sex with the stable hand Joschi, with her friends’ husbands and her sister’s husband, and also with the petty crook Felix, who prefers to take women by force and does not even shrink from rape. After the forced encounter, the pimp hopes to get more out of her, since he plans to make Andrea work as a prostitute for him. Andrea, however, loses interest in men as soon as she has slept with them. One day, though, she meets Frederick, a murderer who has escaped from prison, and begins to fall in love with him. Before Andrea can make a fresh start with him, Frederick is arrested by the police.
