The story
Lawyer Jean-Pierre Laubré is appointed by the court to defend Simone, who is suspected of murdering her partner, Ravier. Faced with his client’s lack of cooperation, he tries to learn more about the case. His inquiries lead him to take an interest in Cristani, a candidate in the legislative elections.
