Es geht um Luis (2024)

Constanze and Jens Brandt, both in their late thirties, lead very stressful lives. Constanze is working hard to secure a permanent position as an architect at her current workplace. Jens works long night and weekend shifts as a taxi driver in Stuttgart. The new taxi competitor Easylane puts him under additional pressure. The two of them practically only see each other in the taxi, when Jens drives Constanze home. When their ten-year-old son Luis starts having trouble with bullying at school, they find themselves caught between conforming to social conventions and trying to protect their son. This does not fit at all into the parents’ already stressful working lives. The bullying is prompted by Luis’s purple school backpack, which features a large glittery unicorn. Luis’s problems at school keep piling up. He is pushed down the stairs, then is accused of pushing a classmate and is suspended for a week as a result.
