A newly separated couples therapist and a single-mother divorce lawyer become neighbors, rivals, and reluctant attractions.
The story
Stefano, a couples therapist newly separated from his wife, and Claudia, a divorce lawyer and single mother, find their offices—and attached residences—on the same landing. They immediately dislike one another, while an attraction also begins to emerge. Their professional rivalry intensifies when patients from one practice start turning to the other, and the two are drawn into each other’s working lives as well as their shared space.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Stefano and Claudia have two jobs that, on the face of it, could hardly be more different: he is a couples therapist who has just separated from his wife, while she is a divorce lawyer and single mother. Their offices, each with a residence attached, end up on the same landing. Their mutual dislike (and attraction) is immediate, and professional rivalry is added to the mix when one’s patients begin turning to the other, and vice versa. But opposites are destined to draw closer.
