The story
Louis, a funeral director, meets Igor, a man with a disability, after a road accident. By a chain of coincidences, they travel together from Lausanne to Montpellier in a hearse carrying the remains of Madeleine and the urn of her 17-year-old son. A series of events keeps them away from the funeral ceremony.

Louis (Bernard Campan), a funeral director, meets Igor, a person with a disability (Alexandre Jollien), after a road accident. By a chain of coincidences, they travel together from Lausanne to Montpellier in a hearse carrying the remains of a woman named Madeleine and the urn of her 17-year-old son. A series of events keeps them away from the funeral ceremony. They attend a bachelorette party; Louis orders an escort but then turns away from her; the young prostitute offers her services to Igor; and Louis gives Igor a suit suitable for the occasion. When they arrive at the cemetery, it becomes clear that Madeleine was Louis’s former stepmother or mother-in-law, and Louis delivers a heartrending farewell speech.
