Full plot (contains spoilers)
Tired of her husband Guido’s sexual perversions, the beautiful Lorenza runs away and begins a relationship with Edward, a young American gardener. Guido cannot accept that she has left him. He spies on the lovers and tries to kidnap his wife, having his henchmen beat Edward. Determined to do whatever it takes to free herself from her husband’s oppressive presence, Lorenza takes a ruthless revenge: taking advantage of Edward’s androgynous beauty, she disguises him as a woman and arranges for Guido to become passionately attracted to him in disguise, with the aim of humiliating him. Guido initially falls into the trap, but when he discovers the truth, he resumes sexually abusing his wife. Driven to exasperation, she shoots and kills him. Lorenza then accompanies Edward to the airport so he can return to the United States, while she turns herself in to the police. She is sentenced to 16 years in prison and will never see Edward again.
