A happily married couple’s relationship is strained when the wife becomes managing director of their struggling shipyard.
The story
Hanna and Martin are a happily married couple with an eleven-year-old son, Paul, and both work as department heads at a shipyard in Hamburg. Their lives shift when Hanna is promoted to managing director, bringing their marriage into crisis. The shipyard is close to bankruptcy, so Hanna halts Martin’s research project. Meanwhile, Junior Möller wants to sell the shipyard to a corporate raider, placing the couple’s personal relationship amid an escalating workplace and business conflict.
