Ein Fisch, der auf dem Rücken schwimmt (2020)

Andrea, in her early 40s, is a woman without a past—playful, spontaneous, light, energetic, honest, and unpredictable. She and 50-year-old Philipp have been together for some time and decide to move in together. Andrea’s presence is meant to fill the void left by Hanna, who has died. Martin, 19, is Philipp’s son and also loves and desires Andrea. Expectations, fears, and longings grow within this triangle. The three characters live in a house, act outside society’s norms, and yet ultimately fail because of their all-too-human needs. The inner emptiness begins to seek attachment, comfort, and, not least, security. In the end, emptiness remains, along with the question of guilt, to which no answer can be given.
