Frühling - Das verlorene Mädchen (2019)

When village helper Katja Baumann is asked to look after a little girl, the child suddenly goes missing from the shopping cart in a furniture store. Katja searches desperately and cannot understand how the child could have disappeared from the cart on her own. Although she has searched the entire building several times, Katja finds little Fibi Wolf shortly afterward in the store’s childcare area. The child’s mother is relieved that everything is all right again, but Katja is not. She simply cannot explain what happened. She remembers, on the one hand, a brief encounter with a mother and her little girl, who looked like Fibi. On the other hand, she also remembers a young woman she had encountered in the store’s elevator and who had seemed to be watching her closely. She also recalls a distinctive tattoo on the woman’s hand. Since Katja was distracted only very briefly, she thinks it is possible that the child was abducted. The tattoo leads Katja to discover that the woman is Marina Grieger. Together with her boyfriend, Marina runs a mountain-bike rental shop near Frühling. Could there be a connection between Marina Grieger and the Wolf family? As she investigates, Katja realizes that the young woman had probably intended to abduct a different child and had taken Fibi by mistake. When she realized her mistake, she had left the child alone in the toy department. Katja’s fiftieth birthday is approaching, and she does not really want to celebrate it in a big way. Even so, she is a little upset when nobody in her circle even has a birthday greeting for her. Being forgotten like that really does get to her. She arrives home feeling down and is surprised by Mark, who, together with his successor Philippa, Adrian, and Pastor Sonnleitner, has organized a surprise party for Katja and all her friends.
