The story
In Rome, State Police Marshal Nicola Palmieri and his trusted Sergeant Salvatore Velasci investigate a Mafia organization that maintains control through extortion of commercial business owners. Led by Rudy the Marseillais, the group is described as savage and vindictive. Palmieri’s violent investigative methods are not accepted by police leadership, setting him at odds with his superiors.

State Police Marshal Nicola Palmieri, with the help of his trusted Sergeant Salvatore Velasci, investigates a Mafia organization in Rome that exerts control over the city by continuing its extortion racket against the owners of commercial businesses in the capital. The organization is led by Rudy the Marseillais, who commands a group of savage, vindictive Mafiosi. Palmieri’s violent investigative methods, however, are not accepted by the police leadership. When he is removed from his post after Velasci is killed in a shootout while trying to foil a robbery at Tiburtina station, Palmieri decides to organize an armed reprisal, which a group of the Marseillais’s gang’s victims decides to join.
