She arranges a meeting to reconcile Bella and Eva, and all three women travel together for the weekend. Bella encourages Marlene’s plan, while Eva tries to dissuade her.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Eva was left by her husband for Bella, a beautiful, younger, successful influencer. “The new woman” never misses a chance to make herself popular with Eva’s little daughter, Olivia, and also gets along famously with Eva’s best friend, Marlene. Marlene met a man on a business trip. She wants to cheat on her husband with him, and plans to meet him during a hunting trip, using a wellness weekend at the hunting location as a cover. Marlene arranges a reconciliation meeting between Bella and Eva. In the end, all three women travel together for the weekend. While Bella encourages Marlene in her plan, Eva tries to talk her out of it. During their stay, a series of chaotic mishaps ensues, until Eva even shoots a hunting dog. Then, when Eva barges in on Marlene during an intimate moment, the two have a falling-out. The three women meet again at Olivia’s birthday party at Bella’s house, where Bella’s birthday present—a dog—kills Eva’s gift, a rabbit. In the end, the three women reconcile.
