When a long-missing child’s frozen body resurfaces in a remote mountain village, a police officer reopens the case that put his half-brother behind bars.

The story

While jogging, Lisa discovers the frozen body of Julien, a child who vanished 20 years earlier. Back then, Julien climbed into a van, leaving his friend Martin behind. The driver was accused and convicted of Julien’s murder, but never confessed, and the body was never found. Police officer Simon Beauregard, the convicted man’s half-brother, arrives in the remote mountain village to investigate how the body resurfaced and whether the official theory of a sexually motivated crime is correct. Lisa helps him, and she is also the daughter of the investigator who handled the original case.
