The story

Frank Schuster has built an affluent life through success at work, but his workaholism leaves little time for his wife, Veronika, and their two children. After a serious car accident, he realizes there is more to life than sacrificing himself for his company. He quits his well-paid job and moves his family to a less prestigious neighborhood, intending for modesty to define their family life. The changes are not welcomed by everyone: Veronika takes a job to fulfill herself and supplement the family income, while teenage daughter Janina initially rebels against their decline in social status.
