Full plot (contains spoilers)
Natalie Schneider lives in comfortable, respectable middle-class circumstances in a Frankfurt suburb. Both her parents have steady jobs, and she attends a good secondary school. Nevertheless, she feels unhappy: above all, her younger sister Vanessa, who has asthma and therefore often has to go to the hospital, takes up all of their parents’ attention. As a result, Natalie’s father often resorts to violence against her as a means of discipline. Natalie initially finds comfort in her classmate Max, until she meets the handsome Nico through her school friend Marion. He seems quite wealthy, and she has no idea that he earns his living as a pimp. Natalie becomes caught up in a dangerous world between school and the underage prostitution scene, while her parents suspect nothing. Only when Georg Teuchert, a family friend, publicly exposes Natalie’s double life can she escape prostitution, and her pimp is imprisoned.
