Full plot (contains spoilers)
Étienne Ronsard, a humanitarian doctor, does not believe the official account of his son Gilles’s death. Gilles was a criminal-investigation police squad leader in Colmar. Étienne is convinced that Gilles could not have caused his own death and that of his partner because he was under the influence of drugs: his son was not a drug addict. Yet the two men rarely saw each other because of the father’s work. Étienne tries to convince the new squad leader, Anaïs Lacombe, but she lost her fiancé in the accident.
