The story
A new batch of recruits arrives at the barracks, where several distinctive personalities promise trouble for their officers. Among them are a handsome, resourceful recruit, a lovestruck technocrat, a toady, a recruit nicknamed “the Jamaican” who only moves when music plays, and a nearsighted man regarded as a halfwit. The resourceful recruit stands out among this unruly group.

As soon as they arrive at the barracks, the new batch of recruits reveals a few characters among them who will give their officers a hard time. There’s the handsome, resourceful one, the lovestruck technocrat, the toady, the “Jamaican,” who only moves when there’s music, the halfwit on account of his nearsightedness... and all the rest. Whether it’s to watch the nurse undress, arrange a date with a fiancée, cuckold the obtuse NCO whose wife is fiery, or get a free lunch at a grand restaurant, the handsome one unfailingly displays remarkable cunning. And every time, it’s the colonel’s servile driver who gets caught in his place.
