A spontaneous Las Vegas wedding leaves two young study-abroad companions with no contact for twenty years.
The story
Lorenzo and Elena meet as young students in America on a study-abroad trip. On their last day overseas, they take peyote and, under its effects, end up in Las Vegas. Partly as a joke and partly as a dare, they get married, then lose track of each other. Twenty years later, their lives have changed: Elena is a career woman and manager, while Lorenzo earns a living ghostwriting political speeches for representatives of different factions. Despite their impulsive marriage, they have had no contact since that escapade.
