Three friends’ bachelorette trip to Ibiza turns into a chaotic reunion with an ex and his bachelor-party companions.

The story

Jasmin, Gina, and Anna plan a bachelorette celebration in Ibiza for their friend Helena, but Helena leaves early because she is pregnant. The three decide to continue without her and unexpectedly encounter Jasmin’s ex, Tim, who is in Ibiza for his own bachelor party. To conceal Jasmin’s lingering feelings, the friends pretend she is the bride-to-be. Their hotel booking falls through, their luggage is stolen, and they have nowhere to stay. After an uneasy night outdoors, they cross paths with Tim and his friends again and are offered a place at their rented finca. The group’s plans for a night out soon bring further complications.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The three single women Jasmin, Gina, and Anna want to celebrate their friend Helena’s bachelorette party in Ibiza. The bride-to-be’s other friends have to cancel because their children are sick. But since Helena is pregnant, she leaves her bachelorette party within the first few hours. After initially planning to cancel the hotel and the flights, Jasmin, Gina, and Anna decide to go after all, just the three of them. In Ibiza, they run into Jasmin’s ex-boyfriend Tim, who has been surprised with a bachelor party in Ibiza by his friends Simon, Stefan, and Django. Jasmin is still pining for Tim, who ended their relationship eight years ago, much to Gina’s annoyance. To save face, the friends claim that Jasmin is the bride at their bachelorette party and is going to marry a certain “Philip.” When they try to check in at the hotel, they are horrified to learn that the initial cancellation cannot be reversed and that rooms are now available only at significantly higher prices. To make matters worse, their luggage is stolen a little later. Despite having only the little they brought as carry-on luggage and nowhere to stay, they decide to enjoy the trip anyway. They spend the night at a playground, near which Gina picks a fight with drug dealers. The next morning, their only provisions are Anna’s turmeric tablets, which are supposed to ease the aftereffects of drinking alcohol. So, somewhat by chance, the three end up with Tim and his friends, who have rented a finca. Stefan is against the idea of giving the women a place to stay, but eventually has to yield to the other three men. They decide to go to a club together. In exchange for free tickets to the upscale club, the women are supposed to get drugs. But since Gina had fallen out with the drug dealers the previous evening, they don’t get any. So they decide to pass Anna’s tablets off to the guys as drugs and go shopping with the 400 euros Stefan had given them for the drugs. The others wait for them at a restaurant. When Anna, and then Stefan, take what they think are drugs, Stefan has an allergic reaction and has to go to the hospital. Tim and Jasmin, who were elsewhere in the restaurant at the time, assume their friends have already gone to the club. Since neither of them feels like going to the club, they spend the night together. At the hospital, Stefan is diagnosed as having reacted allergically to the supposed drugs, and Gina and Anna explain to Simon and Django that the drugs were fake. Back at the finca, Gina and Anna find Jasmin and a sleeping Tim together in bed. Jasmin insists that they didn’t have sex. When Jasmin hints to her friends, hopefully, that she and Tim might still have a chance, Gina pretends over the phone to be Philip, who has cancer, in order to save her friend from making another mistake. Since the call is on speakerphone, everyone present hears it, and Tim, who had earlier expressed doubts about his engagement, leaves the finca. Jasmin follows him and admits that there is no Philip and that her and Tim meeting in Ibiza was a sign. Tim misunderstands her, however, and thinks she staged everything to give herself a reason to follow him to Ibiza. Her attempts to explain are drowned out by their argument. Tim says she is crazy and that he isn’t sure he ever loved her at all. That same day, the police contact the three women because their luggage has been found. At the station, Jasmin and Gina have a blowup, accusing each other of being single. The three friends then return to their everyday lives. On the day of Helena’s wedding, Jasmin is overwhelmed by her duties as maid of honor and is treated by the guests in attendance as a general dogsbody. Tim, who had to step in as photographer at short notice, confesses to her that she always thought she was the reason their relationship didn’t last, but that she sees things differently now. She advises him to marry his fiancée as soon as possible, since he still hasn’t resolved his doubts about the wedding and has instead postponed it by a year. When Jasmin notices a girl sitting alone at a table during a couples’ dance and assumes she must be single, she hurls at her the same accusations that she herself has constantly had to hear, including from Gina. Everyone in the hall hears her words over a microphone. Later, she cuts her lip on a cracked wine glass and has to go to the hospital. One of the paramedics is Django, so Anna and Simon, who have become a couple in the meantime, are allowed to accompany Jasmin. On the way to the hospital, they also pick up Stefan and rescue him from a date. But only one person is allowed to accompany Jasmin into the treatment room. She chooses Gina, who had secretly followed the ambulance, even though the two had had no contact since Ibiza and Gina had blocked her on WhatsApp. After the treatment, Gina announces that she has a boyfriend. She offers to take Jasmin home, but Jasmin would rather walk. So Gina drives away alone with her boyfriend. On her way home, Jasmin talks to a man who introduces himself as Philip, which makes her burst out laughing.
