On Île de Ré, an investigator’s beachside death case becomes delicate when the victim’s close friend, a prosecutor, is handling it.
The story
Vincent Pelletier is assigned to investigate a man found dead on a beach on Île de Ré, wearing a convict’s uniform. The case promises to be delicate because the victim was a close friend of Prosecutor Clergeau, who is handling it. On the island, Vincent encounters his half-sister, Margaux, who regularly visits their father in prison. He is imprisoned for rape and murder, but Margaux believes he is innocent and is trying to clear his name. Vincent disagrees with her belief in their father’s innocence, setting the siblings at odds as the investigation begins.

Little by little, it seems that the two cases may be connected.
